Senior Consultant, Data Privacy Technology The candidate will apply risk management and Information Governance principles to our client’s data privacy and information protection environments. Understand global data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.). Support and lead the execution of privacy maturity assessments and risk assessments. Support the implementation of data privacy compliance processes (e.g. DPIAs execution, Data. Subject Rights request response, consent management). Support data breach response planning and playbook development. Guide clients through risk management and control implementation efforts. Draft policies, standards, and other data privacy guidance documents. Support and lead pre-acquisition data privacy deal due diligence. Draft reports and delivering client read-outs. Support project management and financial tracking. Assist in the development and delivery of team training. Support go-to-market activities. Work collaboratively with internal team members and external client stakeholders to deliver high-quality work product. Support and contribute to the development and delivery of team training. Support and lead go-to-market activities. Build and cultivate client relationships. Develop coaching and mentoring relationship with junior team. Gain a deep understanding of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, HPAA, CCPA, etc.). Bachelor’s degree from accredited university required. 3+ years of experience in data privacy required. Credentials in the privacy or security domain (e.g. CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, CISSP) required. Strong understanding of global data privacy risk management and regulatory compliance required. Strong proficiency in windows and related software, such as Microsoft Power Point preferred. Outstanding client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations preferred. Ability to think clearly under pressure preferred. Understands enterprise risk management framework and its alignment with business strategy preferred. Knowledge of privacy enabling technology and broader enterprise IT frameworks preferred. Ability to analyze and assess data privacy control capabilities and provide remediation recommendations preferred. Knowledge and understanding of the Information Governance Reference Model preferred. Juris Doctorate or other relevant Master’s Degree is a plus. Project management and organization skills preferred. Leadership and collaboration abilities preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred.
