Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years’ financial services experience OR in lieu of a degree. A combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ financial services experience is required. Demonstrated success operating in a team environment is critical. Experience using word processing and spreadsheet is must. Effective communication skills are required. Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Statistics is preferred. 5 years’ experience in financial services industry is a plus. Advanced degrees (JD, CFP, CTFA) is an asset. Understanding of Wealth Management and/or Capital Markets businesss is beneficial. Knowledge of M&T systems and culture is preferred. Attention to detail and good organizational skills and communication skills is desired.
