Paralegal - Legal Affairs
The candidate will provide a wide range of legal support to attorneys in the Legal Affairs department. Duties vary from day to day, but typically include organizing and maintaining litigation files; assisting with discovery responses; arranging for witness interviews; communicating with outside counsel; preparing correspondence and responses to subpoenas; reviewing powers of attorney, surrogacy, adoption, and guardianship documentation; managing the litigation hold process; preparing responses to medical board and nursing board requests; and special projects assigned by attorneys. Key relationships include the Associate General Counsel - Claims and Litigation and the Claims Analyst. Should have an Associate's Degree Required - And Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Must have 2 Years Related Position Experience Or No Experience Required Required - With Required Licensure/Certification. licensure/Certification Requirements: Certified/Licensed/Registered in Field of Practice Required instead of Experience.
