Duties:
- Advise clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including business formation, asset purchases, and corporate filings
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and corporate documents
- Provide strategic guidance to businesses on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
- Represent clients in corporate governance matters and assist in resolving legal issues within organizations
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail in all legal work
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Manage a diverse caseload while meeting client needs and firm expectations
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in Vermont
- Experience in corporate law or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in business transactions, corporate filings, and asset purchases
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team environment
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Admission to the Vermont State Bar
