ES is currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, Senior Manager, Contracts, to join our team working in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Primary Responsibilities: Partner with ES Aftermarket leadership to drive creative solutions to complex contracting problems, enabling rapid top- and bottom-line aftermarket growth. Drive exceptional business performance through effective contracts drafting and negotiation with both commercial airlines and military end-users worldwide. Support the ES/UTAS Contracts organizations by initiating, managing, and executing process improvements. Lead a team of Contracts professionals responsible for contract formation and negotiations. Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to Contracts professionals across the organization as needed. Oversee, manage, and lead the following principal Contracts responsibilities (among others) for ES Aftermarket: Business risk mitigation Contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation Contract flow down to internal organizations Customer interface and correspondence This position will require a highly adaptable leader, who can collaborate across functions and coordinate cross-functional teams at varying levels of the organization and balance the often conflicting and variable requirements of customers and stakeholders with strategies that will yield strong performance results for the ES Aftermarket. Qualification: Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 5 years of experience in a Contracts role, or business role if that role is closely related to Contracts responsibilities, with demonstrated leadership experience Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and other business arrangements; ability to contribute to negotiation strategy and lead negotiations Effective communicator both orally and in writing; strong analytical skills; strong interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management Strong facilitation and presentation skills; has successfully facilitated initiatives that improve process and a culture of change Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills; proven ability to lead across organizational boundaries Strong written and verbal communication skills across a variety of formats and audiences; able to effectively interact with employees at all levels; past success in presenting to executive leadership and influencing key decision makers Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork and trust Capable of multitasking and handling several assignments concurrently Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential with a focus on responsiveness FAR/DFARS working knowledge Capable of executing in a fast paced, high impact/visible environment Ability to provide solutions to both the Customer and Program Team Has advanced to expert knowledge of work area and is viewed as a subject matter expert Highly efficient and self-motivated Ability to adhere to policies and implement changes as required Demonstrated success in implementing and continuous improvement of contracting processes with a track record of driving business results Ability to work under pressure with a bias for action and focus on results; high tolerance for ambiguity and change Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
