Paralegal, Business and Legal Affairs Responsibilities: Compose, draft, and edit (red-line) letters and agreements. Handle preparation of Board of Directors legal materials and SEC filings. Provide administrative support including: maintenance of calendar, copying, filing, faxing, travel planning, expense reports and phone coverage. Provide direct support to a team of three attorneys, including the SVP Deputy General Counsel, and offer a team-centric approach to assist the larger department as needed. Maintain and administer the company’s contract database and other filing systems Coordinate with various internal departments (Finance, TV, A/R, Live Events, Digital, etc.). Act as the point of contact for other departments for copies of agreements and information regarding the status of contracts. Handle basic rights clearance and rights clearance questions. Create and generate reports. Coordinate and attend internal and external meetings and conference calls. Keep current with WWE TV programs, characters, storylines, and products. Perform other tasks as assigned by management and department needs.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor degree preferred. 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Administrator in a corporate legal department or law firm. Previous law firm and/or corporate entertainment experience. Strong PC/Word Processing skills including MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Able to prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and written and verbal communications skills (including spelling and grammar). Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written (including spelling and grammar). High level of professionalism/confidentiality and ability to deal courteously and professionally with internal and external clients of all levels. Paralegal certificate a plus. Willing and able to work overtime as required based on business need. Team player.
