Project Manager - Business Development The candidate will support the five member Business Development Teams consisting of a Developer (Team Leader), Concept Role, Design & Construction, Finance and Operations, in response to competitive RFP’s. Firm's Travel Hospitality Services (THS) secures accounts in a highly competitive environment by winning and retaining contracts issued by various authorities and political governing bodies. These proposals are detailed and complex and require the collection of data from a wide variety of sources. This data needs to be reviewed for accuracy and completeness prior to submission. Manages, organizes and produces responses to Request for Proposals (RFP’s) from the various required internal and external resources. Manages external resources such as: ACDBE partners, creative agencies, architects, writers, photographers, and consultants as required and based on requirements of the RFP. Develops and maintains the project work plan while providing updates on task progress, deadlines and budget goals to the team. Manages schedule deadlines and requirements and keeps process on track for a timely, responsive, complete and accurate submission. Develops presentations and coordinates logistics for oral presentations as required. Writes, coordinates and develops submissions for major awards in Trade Publications for THS’ brand Concept portfolio and account development. Compiles and maintains a database of THS Specific success stories including community involvement. Manages and organizes the content and creative development of the New Business web site and all associated Business Development collateral and presentations. Interfaces with extremely influential political figures and potential and existing clients. All other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Associate’s degree in English, Business Administration/Management, Hospitality, Design, Sales and Marketing, Paralegal. Must have 3 years of experience successfully managing complex projects with tight timelines and deliverables. Must have 3 years experience responding to RFP’s or other new business development documents. Experience with Government proposals and experience in gathering, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting information from a variety of disciplines and sources and disseminate into a coherent format in response to bids is required. Ability to produce documents using Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, (publishing Software) MAC, Keynote, Quark, web site design and content experience helpful. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
