Patent Prosecution (Organic Chemistry) The candidate should have 2 years of substantive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses, and supporting IP due diligences, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences) and other IP matters related to small molecule pharmaceuticals. Should have an advanced degree (. preferred, or . with several years of industry experience) in chemistry, with a strong emphasis on organic or medicinal chemistry, be registered to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and be admitted to a State Bar (California preferred). Should have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior academic background, and a desire for teamwork, significant responsibility, and client interaction.
