Group Contract Specialist II The candidate prepares fully insured large group health plan contracts and maintains signed contracts. Works with internal areas to review and respond to group-requested contract changes and prepares non-disclosure agreements for data requests from groups and consultants. Prepares, reviews and processes various non-disclosure agreements, ensuring appropriate agreements are signed, accuracy and completeness. Approves release of requested data. Works with Legal on group-specific language, obtains countersignature and scans into document management system. Reviews changes to contracts requested by groups, follows up with internal departments for responses to changes and revises document language. Prepares and updates base contract documents and addenda for larger fully insured groups, obtains countersignature and scans into document management system. Updates contract documents and works with internal departments on utilization of proper forms. Assists with preparation of basic alternative funding documents. Should preferably have Bachelors' degree in Business, English, or Paralegal, or related field. Must have 2+ years of experience as a Group Contract Specialist or equivalent experience working with health insurance contracts or equivalent documents. In-depth knowledge of health insurance contract language and interpretation is needed. Intermediate MS Office Skills, including database reporting applications is must.
