ProfileIntern - Tax AMCS - Winter 2018 The intern will perform tax-related tasks including tax compliance and advisory services to a variety of clients including partnerships, corporations and S-corporations, from Fortune 100 to emerging businesses. Will assist in analyzing the tax aspects of various business processes and operational areas, including inventory, revenue recognition, capitalization, expense recognition, research and development, manufacturing deduction, and fixed assets from both a risk and opportunity perspective. Participate in a full spectrum of assignments and receive hands-on experience in a collegial environment. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships. Keep up-to-date on current tax practices. Should be seeking a Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation, J.D. degree with a Bachelor of Accountancy, and/or LLM degree with a concentration in tax from an accredited college/university. Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred. Interest in a profession in tax accounting is required. Note: The candidate should have a targeted graduation date from December 2018 through Summer 2019.
