Legal - Corporate Secretarial Analyst I - Office of the Secretary - Analyst Duties: Support senior executives within OTS, and other members of the team, with a variety of professional matters. Work include performing basic research, collaboratively gathering information from around OTS and other teams within the Firm, analyzing data (including the use of Excel spreadsheets), assisting with plans for the Firmâ€™s annual meeting of shareholders, and preparing highest-quality presentation materials (including PowerPoint decks) for audiences of senior executives and senior lawyers. Interaction with various executive-level internal clients across lines of business (e.g, the Corporate & Investment Bank, Asset and Wealth Management), corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations), and regions. The duties require confidentiality, initiative, sound decision-making, independent judgment, and the ability to recognize and escalate serious or unique problems. Scheduling meetings and appointments, logistics coordination and management of certain projects, managing travel schedules, preparing electronic and hard-copy documents, developing and maintaining electronic files, proofreading, and reserving conference rooms as necessary.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree. 2+ years of relevant experience in a professional services role, such as a business analyst, paralegal, researcher, writer, or clerk. Preferred: Analytical, flexible, and pragmatic approach. Good judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Strong interpersonal skillsâ€”ability to work independently and as part of a team. Substantial skill and experience with Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preparation of highest-quality presentation materials and other work product. Solid organizational and time management skills . Self-motivation and enthusiasm. Determination to timely perform tasks through to completion. Willingness and ability to: Work in a fast-paced team environment; learn the business; provide administrative support as needed.
