Legal Assistant - Corporate/Public Finance
DUTIES: Provide support to a combination of attorneys including partners and associates, as well as paralegals or other staff. Prepare documents, engagement letters, audit letters and facilitate conflict checks. Prepare closing document indices and closing documents binders. Proofread and redline documents. Assist attorneys and billing specialists with client invoicing. Handle electronic records management. Assist timekeepers with time entries for tracking of attorneys’ and paralegals’ billable hours. May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.



Qualification and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. 4+ years of legal secretarial/assistant experience is preferred. Must have strong proofreading and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Strong customer service focus and skills. Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks at one time, and perform well under deadlines. Good judgment and ability to take initiative when solving problems and resolving conflict. Excellent attendance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Docusign, Box.com, NetDocuments, and InTapp is helpful but not required. Experience in business/corporate law a plus but not required.
