Part-Time Staff Attorney position:

Mid-Town Boutique Litigation firm, seeking Part-time Staff Attorney with minimum 2-years litigation experience.  We are looking for a Part-Time attorney, with potential growth into a full-time Associate position in the future, based on the needs and preferences of both the attorney and the firm.  Flexible work-schedule, with limited in-office requirement.  Our firm handles standard and complex litigation matters in State and Federal Court, including all NYC boroughs, Westchester and Connecticut.  Primary areas of practice focus on contract and negligence disputes, with cases handled from inception to trial. 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Drafting and Responding to Discovery Devices and Disclosure Proceedings
  • Conducting In-Person Court Conferences/Teleconferences
  • Court Communication
  • Drafting and Engaging in Substantive Motion Practice
  • Opportunities to Orally Argue Motions before State Courts
  • Engaging in Fact Investigations
  • Client Coordination and Communication

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • NY Bar Admission; NJ or CT a plus
  • Minimum 2 Years litigation experience
