Job Overview:
An esteemed law firm seeks to hire an experienced and motivated Insurance Coverage Attorney for its dynamic team. As an integral part of the insurance coverage and litigation teams, the successful candidate will represent both domestic and international insurers in complex coverage disputes and litigation across a variety of liability policies.

Duties:

• Develop and implement strategies for insurance coverage disputes, with active involvement in litigation and arbitration.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis, drafting memoranda, position letters, and detailed legal documents.
• Analyze insurance policies, providing thorough coverage advice and recommendations for clients.
• Supervise and assist in mediation and the settlement process of global underlying litigations.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, interrogatories, and other legal documents for litigation.
• Participate in depositions, document reviews, and client conferences, offering counsel throughout the litigation and arbitration processes.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various departments and teams to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in New York or New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in insurance coverage or commercial litigation, or relevant in-house experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proven track record with a solid work history in insurance coverage matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Exceptional academic performance in legal studies.

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in New York or New Jersey is required.
