Law Student - Public Rights Division The candidate will have the opportunity to assist attorneys by researching a broad range of legal issues pertaining to privacy, preparing written memorandum, reviewing and assessing evidence, drafting potential investigative subpoena requests, and drafting educational materials. Will also gain experience in developing investigative strategies and exposure to investigative interviews and settlement negotiations. Must have excellent writing, research, and analytical skills. Experience in the field of technology is ideal, but knowledge of any of the various business sectors is also helpful, as privacy issues affect all industries. Will accept summer internship applications from students who wish to intern during the summer after their first, second, or third year of law school. Current second or third year law students who will receive credit for externships may apply for either the fall or spring semester.
