Litigation Project Assistant Duties: Supporting the paralegal department in general office duties including page checking, organizing files, circulation and distribution of case information and maintenance of electronic correspondence and pleading files. Delivers filings to courts and government agencies, and performs computer research using the internet and law-related software.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Require the ability to work overtime when needed as well as strong typing and computer skills. Must have excellent organizational skills, a superior attention to detail, the ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment, and work with a wide range of constituencies in a polite, professional manner. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential. Will be detail oriented, highly organized and will work well as a team player.

There is a need for training of management staff to be more organized with the work and implement a much more organized working structure. More employees should be hired so that some of the staff does not have to stay in later to work.

Pros : The law firm offers a shuttle service. The environment of the law firm is composed of considerate and employees who do well at the work they perform.
Cons : The law firm really needs to consider hiring more employees for the office. Some of the staff is sometimes asked to work until the later hours. Management lacks in being organized with work.
