Law Student
Spring Internship The law student will work in the Public Records Advice & Disputes Division and will be supervised by a Deputy Attorney General. During the internship, students will perform a full range of law clerk responsibilities, including research and writing and will have the opportunity to observe a wide range of lawyering activity. Students participating in the program will also attend court proceedings, meetings with clients, depositions and other special events. Will also be eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year. Assignments to specific practice groups are made based upon student interest. Assignments which students may select may include: Child Protection and Advocacy; Corrections and State Police; Education; Employment Litigation; Environmental Protection; Health and Human Services; Judiciary and Prosecutors; Labor and Community Affairs; Tort Litigation; Transportation; and Treasury and Taxation.
