Paralegal Business and Estate Plans The candidate will be assisting the estate planning attorneys with fast-paced administrative, document intensive projects, and a heavy workload in the areas of business planning, corporate governance, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions and real estate. Assisting in initial drafting of estate planning documents. Funding trusts with client assets. Recording of deeds with accompanying transfer documents. Entity formation. Preparing engagement agreements. Preparing first drafts of form documents for attorney review. Maintaining client files. Legal writing and research. Management of client relationships. Strong follow-up and follow-through skills. Must have 3+ years of legal experience with drafting estate planning documents. Should have current ABA-approved paralegal certificate. Knowledge of foundational estate planning is needed. Excellent organization, time management, proofreading, and word processing skills are essential.
