Intelligence Specialist, GG 11 Duties: The candidate maintains the intelligence production schedule and contact information for customers and intelligence community. Provides advice, guidance and assistance on administrative and related intelligence policies, procedures and directives. Reviews and edits intelligence documents, classified and unclassified, related to both specific and general areas of intelligence ensuring technical correctness, style and adherence to approved formats. Manages branch SharePoint sites on Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) and Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) and posts products for sharing with branch members and the intelligence community Serves as the control point for disposition and maintenance of classified intelligence threat materials.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 1+ year of progressively responsible experience equivalent to the GG/GS-09 grade level in the Federal service, which includes intelligence and threat support related to force protection and production of threat documents and briefings to meet the needs of supported programs/projects.
Closely related (CR) Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3+ years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: National Security Studies, Political Science, International Relations/Foreign Affairs, Geology, Industrial Management, Systems Management/ Operations Research, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Engineering (job Specific) Security Administration, History, Electronic Technology (Job Specific), Law.
