Probate Paralegal Duties: Estate planning, trusts and estates, guardianship and probate matters. Document drafting and processing of probate cases and claims;Assemble, interpret and evaluate all relevant legal documents and financial records; Maintain consistent awareness of court filing deadlines; Manage favorable working relationships with attorneys, support staff and courts.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 3+ years probate experience and have a working knowledge of Windows 10; Microsoft Office 2016; Word 2016 including Styles and Templates/Themes; Excel 2016; E-DOCS a document management system; and Workshare; Adobe DC experience is required. A sound knowledge of legal terminology, case precedents, deeds and wills; Knowledge of probate, trust, conservatorship, guardianship and estate planning laws and concepts; Ability to prepare, review and maintain records and legal documents; Ability to conduct legal research skills using appropriate electronic legal databases; Have excellent written and oral communication skills, solid organization skills, and a willingness to learn, along with being detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have the ability to prioritize incoming/outgoing tasks.
