Fall Internship
The intern will attend meetings, hearings, and briefings and draft memos on the subject matter. Answer and log constituent phone calls and voicemails. Research legislation and policy issues. Assist in sorting constituent mail. Draft letters in response to constituent mail on legislative issues. Conduct tours of the Capitol building for constituents. Research daily press clips. Learn the congressional legislative process and functions of the legislative branch. Process incoming invitations for the Member. Confirm event details for scheduled events and meetings. Other duties as assigned.
