Legal Assistant The candidate will entail: Administration of Trusts - all aspects Assist in gathering financial and personal data from clients; Assist in all aspects of the Probate Process Maintenance of client files; Support attorneys with drafting complaints and discovery; preparing and filing discovery requests; assist attorneys in preparing responses to opposing counsel. Draft correspondence and legal documents. Funding trusts. File exhibits, briefs and other legal documents with the court or opposing counsel. Administrative duties include: scanning, copying, answering and directing phone calls and greeting and interacting with clients. Should have 1 year of experience in estate planning, trust administration and/or Probate/ Litigation. Paralegal Certificate is a plus. Must be proficient computer skills including Microsoft word and Excel Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Should have familiarity with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Bachelor degree is preferred or equivalent certification.
