Director Of Corporate Compliance
The candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s Corporate Compliance and Ethics program, including: identifying, developing and implementing compliance programs; providing training and awareness activities for ethics and compliance; working across the business to implement and strengthen adherence to key policies and processes; and leading investigations where appropriate. Works with constituents throughout the company to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Develops, implements, manages and continuously improves internal controls designed to promote compliance with law and company policy. Develops live and online compliance training and communications. Point of contact and key advisor for senior executives regarding ethics and compliance matters. Manages the ethics hotline. As appropriate, leads internal investigations of potential violations of law or company policy; requires ability to balance multiple priorities based on legal risk to Company. Other duties as assigned. Should have 7-10 years’ of developing and managing a company-wide compliance function, preferably reporting to an in-house legal function. Corporate experience is required. Small corporate setting experience preferred. Must have Licensed attorney who has practice law either in a law firm setting or in-house for at least 5 years. Experience with complex customer and vendor relationships, regulated services (data privacy/security) and an extensive supply chain preferred. Must have hands-on substantive experience in developing and maintaining a robust corporate compliance program, including: working across the organization to understand existing processes and procedures; identifying opportunities to improve compliance programs; developing and helping to implement appropriate policies and procedures; and overseeing or assisting with corporate internal investigations.
