Duties:
- Represent clients in personal injury and construction defect cases, focusing on defense strategies.
- Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and motions.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law to build robust defense strategies.
- Manage case files and coordinate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders.
- Attend court hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on case-related matters.
- Negotiate settlements and case resolutions where applicable.
- Stay updated on legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to achieve favorable client outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury defense and construction defect litigation.
- Professional negligence experience is considered a plus.
- Licensed to practice law in California; licensing in Nevada, Arizona, and Utah is a plus.
- Strong track record of managing complex litigation cases and achieving successful outcomes.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the State Bar of California (or relevant jurisdiction where licensed).
- Additional State Bar admissions (Nevada, Arizona, and Utah) are a plus.
