Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or paralegal or legal secretary degree or 3 years of relevant industry experience relating to document creation ideally in a mid ticket ($200K-$5+M) commercial equipment loan or lease environment for a financial institution or law firm. Certifications/Technical Knowledge/Skills Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook, superior phone skills, attentive to detail, basic knowledge of general principles of accounting, organizations skills such as ability to multi-task, manage time, and adjust to (and manage) rapidly changing priorities. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Should work well in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail. Knowledge of general legal principles related to contract work and perfection of lien issues through the Uniform Commercial Code and motor vehicle titling laws. Ability to quickly learn and properly apply bank policy to various different factual scenarios and to learn various bank systems used to create loan documents. Good analytical and logical skills are required. Ability to manage many diverse job functions simultaneously, work independently and manage time properly is required.
