Corporate - Contract Law
Contracts Coordinator - Power Delivery The candidate will provide assistance to ensure procurement contracts are sufficient to mitigate Company risk, support Procurement’s general legal needs, and finalize contracts on a timely basis to maintain project schedules. Develops flowdowns to procurement documents in order to achieve consistency of obligations between project prime agreements and the corresponding procurement contracts. Supports project staff with the contract negotiations for general risk mitigation. Performs other duties as assigned such as the development of non-disclosure agreements, general service agreements, letters of intent, and memorandums of understanding. Negotiates strategic agreements and project-related disputes with vendors ensuring resolution. Assists with project claims resolutions, as requested. Updates and develops standard procurement documents. Recommends business strategies to ensure project-wide compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Develops, recommends and implements solutions to procurement procedures, as warranted. Provides advanced expertise based on development of knowledge in multiple subject areas. Provides legal research in order to support the preceding duties and offers clear and concise opinions. Individual contributor with no subordinates. Works under the direction of a Contract Services Manager.
Qualification and Experience
A BA or BS degree in Supply Chain/Purchasing, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management, Pre-Law, Law or related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree. Should have 7+ years relevant experience. Preferred Skills: Proficient Analytics - Creation and Interpretation; Advanced Communication Skills- Written and Oral; Proficient Computer - Database and MS Office; Proficient Organizing Data; Proficient Presentation Skills.
