Location:

  • Atlanta, Georgia

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of IP litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, depositions, and trial support.
  • Work with clients to develop case strategies and manage ongoing litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and other court filings.
  • Collaborate with team members and other practice groups within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Advise clients on IP-related matters and develop strategies to protect their intellectual property.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in IP litigation.
  • Technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent writing and research skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues and manage multiple cases.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • None required, but an engineering or technical background is preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines effectively.
