Legal Specialist The candidate will be responsible for documentation review in accordance with current legal practices, systems and processes. Identification and resolution of data or content discrepancies through utilization of internal and external resources in a timely manner. Coordinates and assists in preparing responses to requests for document production in litigation, in response to subpoenas, and public information requests. Handle information request to and from other company personnel. Conduct necessary legal and/or business research and provide timely and relevant information and respond to legal inquiries. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district. Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have B.A., B.S., or AD degree. Paralegal certification with Notary license is preferred. Must have 2+ years of experience in a law firm, school district, university, or corporate law department as an officially designated legal assistant, paralegal and/or legal specialist OR a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the applicant has acquired the knowledge and abilities listed for the position
