Contracts and Grants Regional Contract Specialist The candidate will develop and analyze contractual relationships including investigator grants including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements related to clinical trials. Will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of the contract flow for client and vendor contracts in such a manner that it is compliant with company and legal guidelines, is delivered in the required quality and within the agreed timelines. Attend the Legal Kick-off meeting and the budget kick-off meeting (by the CMs of each region involved). Create and finalize the IAP. Train the CAs on the IAP and the negotiation guidelines as well as budget related issues including schedule of assessment and protocol synopsis. Make sure that all correct and agreed CTA templates are used and all CTA types for each site are agreed in upfront. Follow-up closely with CAs on the CTA negotiation process and progress. Be the first contact for the CA when there are budget issues. Undergraduate/Bachelor's degree is required (in contract/legal area preferred). J.D. degree is highly preferred. Must have 2-3 years of outstanding experience negotiating either clinical trial agreement budgets or clinical trial agreement language. Prior experience as a clinical trial agreement budget negotiator is an asset.
