Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be assisting attorneys and clients with the preparation and filing of petitions, waivers, visa applications, etc., as well as correspondence with USCIS. Will be organizing and tracking cases status and assisting in the management of attorney court appearances, calendars and client matters. Completing client intakes, interviews and providing friendly customer service. Must have good writing and communication skills, ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule, ability to multi-task, in-depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles, and the ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy. Must have 1-2 years of paralegal experience. Knowledge of immigration courts, court procedures and USCIS website is necessary. Proficiency in Spanish and a desire to assist immigrants achieve the America Dream is a must.
