ProfileCommunications Professional III The candidate will provide senior-level communications strategy and project management for organization’s Integrated Applications Center through the Science and Technology Group in organization’s Communications & Public Affairs Office. Will support complex communications projects for partnership-related clients, and design and coordinate implementation of communications strategies and products working directly and in partnership with organization leadership, including center directors and group managers, as well as technical and team leads. Must have advanced understanding and application of project management principles, concepts, practices, and standards, along with knowledge of web enterprise management and print, video, and social media communication standards and disciplines. Strong leadership, project management, and complex problem-solving skills are needed. Excellent customer relations and team mentoring skill is needed. Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or marketing is preferred. Experience with existing organization and DOE programs are preferred. Experience with emerging digital communications, marketing concepts, social media, technologies, and practices is preferred. Familiarity with renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies are needed. Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience is needed, Or, relevant Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience, Or, relevant PhD or equivalent relevant education/experience, Or relevant JD degree or equivalent relevant education/experience. Knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures and practices related to specific field is considered. Strong leadership, project management and problem solving skills.
