Years of Experience
We are a small Plaintiff's PI, WC and SSD firm in business at the same location on Central Avenue for over 30 years with an expanding state-wide practice seeking to fill two immediate openings in Personal Injury and Social Security departments. Our firm has growing pains with two long-term legal assistants leaving to attend law school in August and two new associates coming into the practice after taking the July Bar Exam. Our preferred candidates would have some experience (1-2 years,) in either PI (Plaintiff's,) or SSD law. They would both be self-starters who have excellent verbal and written communication skills, are computer savvy (we are a cloud-based, paperless law firm,) and are punctual and reliable. Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred but not required. Starting pay is between $12-14 per hour plus liberal performance based monthly bonuses. We also offer health and dental benefits, 401(k) and ample paid time off including legal holidays, time off with pay between Christmas and New Years, and, "Early Fridays." This is an ideal position for a college graduate wishing to pursue a law degree as we have molded and mentored many young lawyers in the past 30 years. This is a fast-paced, smoke -free working environment.

Small, Well-Established Saint Petersburg based Plaintiff's Personal Injury, Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability law firm. We are proudly a family business as partners, Sharon Jorgensen and E. Lynn Gibbons, have three young adult children working as associates/ bar candidates and three children working as legal assistants while attending or preparing for law school. We proudly represent only the injured and disabled and have never represented insurance companies. Both Sharon and Lynn are very hands on with clients and staff on a daily basis. We are a growing, state-wide practice and offer liberal bonuses, paid time off and benefits in order to promote longevity. The way our office is structure fosters a team working environment and we strive to treat each client the way we would want to be treated. We support our staff in their academic endeavors and, once they are established as a part of the team, have been flexible with scheduling to accommodate school schedules whenever possible, drafted reference letters for the LSDAS and the Florida Bar, and helped to mentor our staff regarding their academic pursuits outside the office.
