Job Title: Patent Prosecution And Litigation Technical Advisor

Job Overview: A prominent law firm located in Tysons Corner, VA, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Advisor to support its Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group. This role will focus on providing technical expertise related to electrical engineering and software, particularly in the context of patent prosecution and litigation within the dynamic fields of wireless communication technologies like 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.

Duties:

• Assist attorneys in patent prosecution and litigation related to electrical engineering and software technologies.
• Provide technical analysis and support for patent filings and legal proceedings.
• Draft technical reports and assist with claim construction and invalidity analysis.
• Collaborate with patent agents, engineers, and attorneys to develop strategies for patent filings.
• Research and stay updated on emerging trends in wireless communication technologies (., 5G, 6G, 3GPP standards).
• Review and analyze complex technical documents, including patents and industry publications.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to legal teams.
• Support the preparation of expert testimony and assist in litigation-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields.
• Wireless communication experience, specifically in 5G, 6G, or 3GPP standards, is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle complex technical data.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Skills:
