Human Resources Specialist (Military) Duties: The candidate will review incoming regulations and directives relating to administrative and military personnel programs, functions and procedures. Assist staff in formulating administrative estimates, plans, orders and reports. Conduct periodic and special staff visits to subordinate units to ensure compliance with regulations. Review and coordinate studies pertaining to the civilian evaluation reports, Senior and Base systems. Coordinate studies and track Civilian Education System Formulate and recommend policy to reduce error and late rates.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: The candidate must have 1 year of specialized experience which includes establishing, and reviewing proposed personnel policies and practices; processing personnel actions; and establishing personnel records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
