Director of Court Operations The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the operations of Criminal court clerk, criminal sessions court clerk, and 4th circuit court clerk. Relay any pertinent information concerning office operations to the Clerk of Courts. Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Review on a regular basis the operations of the individual courts and relay any pertinent issues to the clerk. Represent the Clerk on behalf of the department as necessary including judges, attorneys, customers and general public and responds to all complex issues and filings. Any pertinent in these matters to the clerk. Oversee and manage the supervisors and team leaders of each office. Evaluate their job functions, activities and performance. Assist with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures and interpret them to department employees. Monitor the JIMS system and relay any issues to the IT department. Act as the public records coordinator for the department. Perform specialized tasks as assigned by the Clerk. Work with the IT department and clerk representatives in the formation and implementation of a new case management system. Should be Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee. Five (5) Years experience practicing law. Closes On: October 9, 2020
