Paralegal - Financial Services The candidate will handle a broad range of responsibilities, including performing research, drafting documents, and assisting with the preparation and filing of various documents. Responsibilities: Apply defined processes in contract negotiations; Review agreements and check for cross-references, defined terms and overall consistency; prepare due diligence reports, flagging any issues for attorney review; Assist in the definition of standard processes and language for use in negotiating contracts; Ensure contracts are in compliance with corporate, regulatory and legal requirements and standards; Ensure final contract agreements are consistent with the terms reached during negotiation; Manage process to ensure that the business sponsor and any appropriate stakeholders have approved the terms in the agreement prior to being presented for execution; Update template agreements as needed based upon evolving regulatory requirements, and under attorney guidance; Review NDAs and provide suggested edits and comments for attorney’s review; and Perform research.
