ProfileTemporary Legal Coordinator The candidate provides support to CFT NV Developments and to LLC/Cherng Family Trust attorneys and paralegals with real estate and corporate transactions. The Legal Coordinator assists with summarizing and communicating due diligence issues to the CFT’s Real Estate Development, Leasing, and Legal teams; and ensures accurate and timely review and preparation of due diligence, real estate and corporate documents. Assists the supervising paralegal with managing the legal due diligence process, ordering/obtaining and reviewing all title documents, environmental reports, and in-place leases. Prepares first drafts of title review, environmental review, and lease review memoranda advising on development or other issues discovered. Processes all invoices. Assists with managing escrows for purchase transactions. Assists with closing purchase transactions. Prepares first drafts of related-party leases (e.g., to Panda Express) and abstracts all new leases. Prepares first draft of all non-related-party leases (i.e., to third parties), lease amendments and lease renewals; and abstracts all new leases. Prepares first draft of all third-party lease amendments and lease renewals; revises these as necessary. Prepares first draft of all purchase contracts and sale contracts by incorporating pertinent information contained in the letters of intent. Assists with reviewing and revising confidentiality agreements, estoppel certificates, brokerage listing agreements. Etc. Assist with managing and filing all legal information and due diligence databases. Assists CFT attorneys and supervising paralegal with corporate and LLC formation and organization, and with preparation of legal documents. Assists in building and maintaining partnerships with critical stakeholders, both internal and external. Should have Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Paralegal certification strongly preferred. Must have 1 year of relevant experience (e.g., real estate and/or corporate paralegal).
