Contracts Paralegal The candidate will review contracts/documentation to ensure they meet corporate legal guidelines including compliance to the Getinge Organization’s Quality and Regulatory standards. Interface with Getinge customers and vendors to provide input and recommendation on contracts. Develop and modify contract templates to suit business and customer reads. Ensure proposed changes receive appropriate review and approval. Assist with the creation of standard operating procedures to build on existing contract templates and experiences. Administer processes to ensure consistent use of best practices. Preparation and submission of contracts researching questions regarding contracts, and ensuring proper signatures exist. Monitoring, updating, report creation and reporting. Remind internal and external clients as needed. Assist with researching and maintaining implementation of contract management to manage existing agreements, including physical and electronic documents. Manage workflow of customer contracts to ensure timely processing. Encourage standardized approval, execution and archiving processes. Maintain hard copy agreement files as well as electronic database for tracking signed agreements. Review invoices associated with service payment, ensure work performed within budget, track and manage legal invoicing. Interact with vendors. Assist with vendor management, tracking agreements, reviewing agreements as needed and ensuring compliance with company requirements. Perform routine legal research and compiling data, charts, legal research and reports as required. Perform and guide activities resulting from assigned or self-initiated work leading to innovative applications of existing processes or procedures, or work product having major importance to the department and organization. Provide customer support for routine questions and inquiries received from internal clients. Recommend/utilize/interpret advanced data and to present documentation and analysis and resolve complex problems. Establish and cultivate an extensive network of support to facilitate completion of assignments. Close working relationships are required with Senior Staff, managers, support staff and external agencies. Actively participates in comprehensive development of plans including an outline of duties and project assignments. Demonstrates independence by prioritizing and completing assignments. Other responsibilities as assigned. Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function). Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function). Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval. Adopt the “Beyond Compliance Quality Culture” in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements. Associate’s Degree and a Paralegal Certificate is needed. Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or a related field preferred. Should have 3-5 years corporate legal or law firm experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to comfortably work cross-functionally across all levels in the organization including, with upper management is needed. Applies knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices and/or develops technologies or processes are needed. Strong written and oral communication and strong command of the English language as relates to proper grammar, punctuation and editing skills is required. Superior organizational skills to maintain order of files and prioritize work. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is needed.
