Healthcare Compliance Senior Consultant The candidate will enjoy discussing technical and industry trends and seek opportunities to demonstrate and teach seniors and staff on the job. Participate in the initiation and development of new products and services. Enjoy participating in engagement sales opportunities and consistently develop work at existing clients. Understand the business environment and potential client base for your solution and industry. Seek opportunities to interact with and mentor personnel, including participating in the creation and rollout of training and developing skill sets. Make conscious use of real-time supervision during all phases of an engagement to develop our people. Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations. A solid foundation in risk and compliance processes and objectives required. An understanding of healthcare provider regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark, False Claims Act, Conflicts of Interest, etc.) needed. Must have knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and developing key deliverables, including process flows, work programs, reports, and control summaries. Should have ability to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across the healthcare provider sector. Must have Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Accounting, Finance, or Other Related Field). Should have 3+ years working in provider healthcare compliance environment, preferably a hospital or academic medical center, or consulting or related field, either in professional services or industry. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access. Juris Doctor is preferred. Professional Certification such as CHC, CHPC, CHRC or similar preferred.
