Senior Program Manager The candidate will be leading a team in development of MCIO Telecom Ordering Process and Expense Management system. Will be providing a highly automated life cycle and system from order to invoice and audit management of MCIO worldwide network infrastructure. Finding solutions in a large and complex environment, to move the team and solution forward. Working with engineering, finance, procurement, contract and supplier teams to develop workflow and define key elements to tie specific orders to POs, invoices, contracts, MSA, firm and supplier circuit inventory. Using robotic process automation (RPA) to automate the order tracking and invoicing process to improve order accuracy, order tracking, cost recovery and cost avoidance. Overseeing contract negotiations to insure standardization of contract agreements, this includes managing metrics, tracking and reporting on the lifecycle of contracts. Contributing to and overseeing process mapping, provisioning tool development, and leading all up status reporting for the Global Acquisition Team. Partnering directly with cross organizational teams such as engineering design teams, delivery teams, operations teams, contractors and suppliers. Driving key upward and horizontal contract review processes including regular updates on contract negotiations, including outward communication and action definition, delegation, tracking and management. Proactively identifying issues that impede business group success and providing solutions/recommendations to streamline and simplify. Taking point leadership on irregular and unanticipated procurement and business process topics or issues. Working closely with the Director of Business Management. Must have 7+ years of experience in Telecommunication industry. Should have 7+ years of Negotiating Telco or Carrier contracts Experience with Process development and process mapping. Should be experienced in producing metric driven reports. BS or BA degree in Business Management or IT Management Ability to travel worldwide as required in both planned and unplanned scenarios is required. Should have a paralegal back ground. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills required for preparing clear, concise and grammatically correct materials and communicating information effectively to others. Should have executive presence and diplomacy for interaction with all levels of firm executives, staff, customers and partners. Must have comprehensive understanding of Telecommunications and the management of Telecommunications Assets. Comprehensive understanding of accounting and budgeting practices and methods is required. Ideally experience in using firm procurement tools and reporting tools is needed. Ability to develop, and maintain processes, procedures, program baselines, training, and improvement plans is required. Should have the ability to document and improve work processes in order to make workflow more efficient and productive. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and SharePoint) a must. Should have a basic understanding of contracts and service level agreements. Should be experienced with purchasing practices specific to Telecommunications and COLO space acquisition and contract administration. Should have professional purchasing experience in the area of telecommunications, with a broad and deep understanding of Contract Negotiations, Contract Management, and use of Business Intelligence (BI) to simplify information discovery and analysis making it easy for the team and leadership to measure, manage and improve on the performance of the team, and suppliers.
