Contract Specialist (Part-Time) The candidate assists with the management of a large number of third-party contracts for Disney Institute. Under the direction of the Business Manager, the Contracts Specialist will manage the contract development and approval process, which includes drafting, analyzing and reporting on contracts and contract terms in coordination with internal business partners and firm Legal. Analyzing contracts and contract terms to ensure the business unit is complying with contract terms and company policies. Inputting contract data into WorkFront and/or other systems used for managing contract information. Overseeing the contracts administration process to ensure that all contracted deadlines and deliverables are met. Managing the reporting process for contract terms (like contract expiration dates, payment amounts, payment dates, etc.) to ensure that all contract terms are properly evaluated and managed by the leadership team. Coordinating with internal business partners and firm Legal regarding contract language and content to ensure accuracy and completeness. Drafting contracts and amendments from pre-developed templates. Experience drafting various types of contracts using pre-approved forms, including agreements for Institute services.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 3+ years of experience related to the above set of duties or other related education/training. Should have Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Paralegal certificate and/or Bachelor's degree (or higher) is preferred. Proficiency in Siebel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access is needed. Experience as a legal assistant with contract management responsibility or prior contract administrator experience is must.
