Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join a well-established legal team in Quincy, MA. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in handling a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including leasing, land use, permitting, and purchase and sale agreements. The position will involve managing commercial closings, title examinations, and policy preparation. The firm is looking for a highly professional individual who can deliver exceptional legal services and foster strong client relationships while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, land use, and permitting processes.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review purchase and sale agreements.
  • Handle and supervise commercial closings, including title examinations.
  • Prepare and evaluate title policies for accuracy and compliance.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely transaction completion.
  • Provide ongoing legal counsel to clients, maintaining strong and professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • A valid Bar license in Massachusetts.
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Expertise in commercial leasing, land use, and permitting.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements.
  • Familiarity with commercial closings and title examination processes.
  • Residential loan conveyancing experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Massachusetts.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of real estate law, with a focus on commercial transactions.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and contract drafting.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in title examination and policy preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills and client management expertise.
