Legal and Executive Administrative Assistant The Candidate will be responsible to drafts and prepares legal documents and correspondence. Assists General Counsel with redline changes to documents and contracts. Contract management and administration, including data entry and updating information within appropriate systems. Prepares corporate and legal documentation. Conducts legal research and gathers relevant information. Prepares annual filings for multiple Company entities. Coordinates travel arrangements. Provides backup to Office Coordinator when unavailable.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have High School Diploma required. Associates or Paralegal Degree desired with 2+ years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant working in a fast-paced department. Previous Corporate Legal Secretary or Corporate Paralegal/Legal Assistant desired. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. Gather and analyzes information skillfully while maintaining confidentiality. Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to write, type, express or exchange ideas; ability to convey information/instructions accurately. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. Adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to walk, stand and move about for long periods of time; work with equipment in the field including basic hand tools, lift and manipulate reasonable weights (approximately 25 lbs), ability to sit and type for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
