Legal Assistant The candidate will report directly to the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel. Will work collaboratively with other members of the Legal Services team. Preparing and editing correspondence and other documents Managing calendars, schedules and deadlines. Processing law firm invoices, legal billing and reimbursement requests. Document management, maintenance and organization. Planning and managing travel schedules, meetings and conference calls. Maintaining working knowledge of all e-resources used by the legal department. Assisting with new initiatives, such as building a centralized repository of documents and matter tracking. Supporting individual attorney projects as requested. Must have 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant at a law firm or company. Strong organizational skill is essential. High degree of poise and professionalism, including the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality. Experience with electronic document management systems and Microsoft Office is essential.
