Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced mid-level Privacy Litigation Associate Attorney to join its national Privacy Litigation team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile privacy-related cases, representing clients across a range of industries. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in litigation, with a strong focus on privacy laws, and will play a key role in the preparation and management of cases from inception to trial.

Duties:

  • Manage the preparation and execution of litigation tasks related to privacy law matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, briefs, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on federal, state, and international privacy laws.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and provide support in trial preparation.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Assist in growing and supporting the firm’s national Privacy Litigation practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on privacy law preferred.
  • Strong experience in legal research, writing, and case preparation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases from start to finish.
  • Familiarity with privacy laws at the federal, state, and international levels.
  • Ability to quickly navigate complex subject matters.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Georgia Bar or eligibility to gain membership.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the relevant State Bar, with Georgia Bar membership preferred.

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Knowledge of privacy laws and litigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
