ProfileContract Administrator The candidate will be responsible for drafting, managing, redlining, negotiating, and finalizing purchasing agreements and sales agreements. Will be managing contract files and data base. Reviewing and interpreting contract language. Negotiating specifications and contract provisions to best protect firm's interests. Developing and communicating firm's best practice standard terms and conditions for incorporation into firm's boilerplate contracts. Working with firm's legal counsel, as appropriate. Assisting others with contract negotiation as needed. Working independently and collaboratively through prescribed policies and procedures to solve complex contracts issues with internal customers.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have College degree. Must have several years paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. Paralegal certificate preferred. Must have knowledge and use of general contract principles. Knowledge and understanding of legal concepts relating to contract code is required. Must have knowledge and understanding of legal concepts relating to HIPAA. Knowledge and understanding of basic information technology terminology and industry is required. Must have strong grammatical and written communication skills. Must have knowledge and use of general business operations, administration, finance, sales and purchasing principles desired. Knowledge and use of firm's activities and policies desired. Proficiency in MS Office applications required. Proficiency in Oracle applications required. Proficient in Web research. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed.
