ProfileWealth Planning Associate The candidate will work directly with and advise high net worth individuals and their advisors on primarily complex domestic estate and trust planning, including working with owners of private capital and their diverse assets. Candidate will be exposure to sophisticated Wealth Planning techniques, such as Family Limited Partnerships, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, Foreign Grantor Trusts, Qualified Personal Residence Trusts, Dynasty Trusts, Insurance Trusts, Annual Exclusion Trusts, Directed Trusts, Sales to Defective Grantor Trusts, Buy-Sell Agreements, Decanting and Private Trust Companies.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have strong academic credentials (JD required; LLM is a plus). 2-3 years of pqe needed. Strong drafting, writing and communication skills are required. Experience drafting wills and trusts needed. Should have strong project management ability; ability to balance a large number of competing priorities. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint a plus. The following experience would be useful. Should have some knowledge of income taxation of trusts and estates, gift tax return reporting, generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax and Chapter 14.

If people want to advance within a firm you need to expand your firm or employees will leave.Pros : When I started with this firm management did a great job training me for the position and being sure to answer any questions or concerns I had.
