ProfileContracts Administrator, Utility Division The candidate reports to: Senior Project Manager. Understands the mechanics of the MHP and EVCN programs. Utilizes customer service related experience in order to build relationships with clients, understand client needs, and work with PM teams to develop scoped solutions for those needs, within the context of the program. Manages interdisciplinary review and approval process for BTM customer contracts for all aspects of the MHP and EVCN programs, from bid to close-out. Thoroughly understand all party’s obligations under the contract and ensure that they are being met in the field, financially and program wide. Needs to understand principles of risk management and how they apply to construction contracts. Provides support to project teams in managing claims and disputes including the preparation of payment remedies. Monitors deadlines associated with payment remedies. Maintains a comprehensive record of terms negotiated with customers. Develop, negotiate, and modify contracts with external parties on behalf of company’s utility division. Develop and manage contracting processes for company’s utility division. Manage multiple contracts simultaneously in support of utility division programs which touch multiple entities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm completeness and accuracy of proposed contract; learning and taking into account particular risks inherent in the transaction.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Four year degree in related area, J.D., acceptable experience, or a combination of above. Demonstrated contracts management track record, as evidenced by minimum 3 years’ experience is needed. Must have market knowledge of, and experience with, contracts in The Electrical and Construction Industry. Should have demonstrated expertise in negotiation and development of contracts. Must have understanding and balancing of customer requirements and organizational goals. Should have good interpersonal skills. Must have good negotiation skills. Must understands principles of risk management and how they apply to construction contracts. Should have exceptional communication skills, and effective interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
