Duties

• Investigate case facts and develop evidence related to damages.
• Negotiate all aspects of case settlements, including lien resolution, where appropriate.
• Maintain communication and foster positive relationships with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel, and insurance representatives.
• Collaborate with teams to achieve law firm goals.
• Supervise and manage support staff to ensure efficient operation.
• Adhere to reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.
• 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury practice.
• Experience in insurance defense and/or prior claims handling is a major advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
• Knowledge of Needles case management software is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Superior negotiation abilities and capability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Needles case management software.
• Ability to supervise support staff and manage caseloads effectively.
