Compliance Paralegal The candidate will support and assist in handling various regulatory, civil and other litigation as well as policy and compliance matters. Facilitates assignment of lawsuits, investigation of claims, production of discovery, enforcement actions, and responses to requests from regulatory agencies. Responsible for complying with reporting requirements and meeting deadlines for responses to inquiries from regulatory agencies, terms of active consent judgments, and settlement agreements. Track and log incoming lawsuits, regulatory requests, audit reports, demand letters and claims, and manage response deadlines associated with same. Work with internal business partners to gather all documents in response to subpoenas, regulatory inquiries, and as necessary to respond to written discovery requests. Coordinate with the Managing Attorney to assign files to outside counsel. Assist with discovery and coordinate with outside counsel to produce relevant company documents. Investigate claims and organize documents in preparation for trial. Work with in-house and outside counsel to place litigation holds as needed. Prepare weekly and monthly litigation/compliance reports as necessary. Act as a liaison with corporate witnesses to coordinate interviews, depositions, and court appearances. Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent are required. Must have 1-2 years direct experience with government enforcement actions, responding to subpoenas, and general civil litigation are essential. Knowledge and mastery of MS Office are required. Experience with e-discovery and case management software preferred.
